Provider Standards
FastLocal Provider Standards & Verification Policy
FastLocal connects urgent callers to independent local service providers.
Because emergency calls involve real stress and real money, we operate with clear provider standards and verification procedures.
This page explains:
- How FastLocal verifies providers
- What standards providers must meet
- How complaints are handled
- What FastLocal is responsible for
- What FastLocal is not responsible for
Our goal is simple: fast connections, local transparency, and accountability.
What FastLocal Verifies Before Listing a Provider
FastLocal does not automatically list businesses.
Before a provider can receive calls through our platform, we verify the following:
1. Business Identity Verification
We confirm:
- Legal business name
- Operating city or service area
- Public business presence such as:
- Website
- Google Business Profile
- Trade directory listing
- Public customer reviews
Providers must demonstrate that they actively operate in the city they are listed under.
2. Local Service Confirmation
FastLocal focuses on local emergency connections.
We verify that the provider:
- Physically services the listed city or nearby area
- Is not a national call center pretending to be local
- Can dispatch technicians within the stated service region
We do not allow anonymous lead resale chains.
3. Live Call Acceptance Testing
Before going live, providers must:
- Successfully answer test calls
- Confirm they handle the listed emergency service
- Demonstrate they can accept real time inbound calls
Providers who repeatedly fail to answer calls are removed.
4. Service Category Validation
Providers are listed only under services they confirm they perform.
For example:
- Plumbing calls go to plumbing providers
- HVAC calls go to HVAC providers
- Locksmith calls go to locksmith providers
We do not route calls across unrelated categories.
Ongoing Provider Standards
Once listed, providers must agree to:
- Answer emergency calls professionally
- Clearly communicate pricing structure before work begins
- Provide realistic arrival time estimates
- Comply with local licensing requirements where applicable
- Avoid deceptive or aggressive sales tactics
FastLocal monitors:
- Answer rates
- Call responsiveness
- Complaint patterns
Providers who fail to meet standards may be suspended or removed.
How Complaints Are Handled
If you believe a provider you reached through FastLocal acted improperly:
- Contact the provider directly first.
- If the issue is not resolved, contact FastLocal with:
- Date and time of the call
- Service type
- City
- Description of the issue
FastLocal will:
- Review call logs
- Review call recordings when available
- Contact the provider for response
- Track complaint frequency
If we identify repeated misconduct, the provider will be removed from the platform.
FastLocal does not mediate billing disputes or guarantee outcomes. However, documented patterns of misconduct directly affect a provider’s eligibility.
Call Recording & Transparency
Calls connected through FastLocal may be recorded for:
- Quality assurance
- Provider verification
- Complaint investigation
When recording is active, both parties are notified prior to connection.
Recordings are used internally and are not publicly distributed.
What FastLocal Is
FastLocal is a call connection platform that routes emergency calls to local independent providers.
We:
- Provide city specific direct phone numbers
- Connect callers to available local service providers
- Monitor provider performance and standards
What FastLocal Is Not
FastLocal:
- Does not set service pricing
- Does not dispatch technicians directly
- Does not perform repairs
- Does not collect payment for services performed
- Does not guarantee outcomes
All service agreements, pricing, warranties, and disputes are strictly between the caller and the provider.
Why These Standards Exist
Emergency service industries often suffer from:
- National lead generation chains
- Hidden dispatch centers
- Non local call routing
- Bait pricing tactics
- Long hold times
FastLocal was built to provide a simpler model:
You call a city specific number.
You speak directly to a local provider.
You confirm pricing and timing before authorizing work.
Direct connection.
Verified local provider.
Clear accountability.
