Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using FastLocal.
1. What FastLocal Is
FastLocal is a call connection and routing service.
We connect callers to independent, local service providers.
FastLocal does not provide plumbing, HVAC, towing, locksmith, or other field services.
We do not employ the providers and we do not control their pricing, availability, licensing, or performance.
2. Independent Providers
All service providers connected through FastLocal are independent businesses.
Any agreement, quote, dispatch, payment, warranty, or dispute is strictly between you and the provider.
FastLocal is not responsible for:
- Work quality
- Pricing disputes
- Damages
- Delays
- Injuries
- Provider conduct
You are encouraged to confirm pricing, licensing, insurance, and scope of work directly with the provider before proceeding.
3. Emergency and Safety Disclaimer
If you believe there is immediate danger to life, health, or property, call 911 (or your local emergency services) immediately.
FastLocal is not an emergency response service.
In cases involving:
- Gas leaks
- Fire
- Electrical hazards
- Active medical emergencies
- Immediate personal danger
You must contact emergency services first.
4. Call Recording
Some calls routed through FastLocal may be recorded for quality assurance, training, fraud prevention, and dispute resolution.
If recording is enabled, a notice should be played at the start of the call.
By continuing the call after the notice, you consent to recording where permitted by law.
5. Availability
We do not guarantee:
- That a provider will answer
- Response time
- ETA accuracy
- Provider availability
- Continuous uptime of the website or phone system
Service interruptions may occur.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for unlawful purposes
- Abuse or harass providers
- Interfere with call routing systems
- Attempt to disrupt the platform
We reserve the right to block access for misuse.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FastLocal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from:
- Your use of the website
- Your use of the call routing service
- Services performed by third-party providers
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid directly to FastLocal for the service (which is typically $0 for callers).
8. No Warranties
The service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind.
We do not guarantee:
- Accuracy of information
- Suitability of providers
- Outcome of services
- That the system will operate without interruption
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version on this page.
Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
